Breast Friends Forever is a supportive space for everyone affected by breast cancer to come together.

It is a space to remember those we have lost, offer support to anyone currently affected by breast cancer and a way to raise money for charity.

We are raising money for existing charities that both support people with breast cancer and fund research into this terrible disease. These are; Breast Cancer Now, Macmillan Cancer Support and St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne.

Who are we

My name is Claire and I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in September 2022. It turned my life upside down and made me re-evaluate what is precious to me. As part of my journey, I wanted to give something back to all those who were either in, or facing, a similar situation.
My meeting with Emily helped me to organise and promote Breast Friends Forever, an idea I had come up with whilst going through my trauma. I hope you will feel able to support us in our efforts to raise money for the charities we would like to support.

I first met Claire at a networking event in Eastbourne. A few months later I received an email from her explaining that she had breast cancer and instead of feeling sorry for herself she wanted to do something positive. She had soo many amazing ideas on how to support others and raise money for the fantastic charities that had helped her.
Claire was looking for someone to help bring all of these ideas to life and create a website for Breast Friends Forever. I have lost a very close family friend ( my second mum) to breast cancer and this project felt like fate, we were meant to meet and create something magical together.
